"BRIDGING SYDNEY HARBOUR"

A comparison of the building of Sydney Harbour Bridge in the depression days of the 1930's with the construction of the Sydney Harbour Tunnel.

 Technologies were different but the human values seen through the photos of Henri Mallard remain unchanged.

Andrew Vial acted in the bridge-building re-enactment, and at the 1988 Australian Bicentennial Concert the film was presented to Prince Charles and the late, Diana, Princess of Wales.
